To build on part one, today we’re talking about all things heat acclimation! We discuss the physiological adaptations that occur, different methods of heat acclimation (there’s more than one), and specific protocols to follow. Most importantly, we discuss how heat training is an added stressor on the body that requires special coaching approaches to adapt to the added stress while still accomplishing key training goals.
